I started in broadcasting at the age of 10.  Being inquisitive, I wanted to see if I could keep talking while I swapped the black vinyl singles on the family music centre. So grateful were they to have their own radio station that, they bought me twin decks and banished me to the bedroom!

I worked in commercial radio at Essex Radio (now Essex FM) during the eighties. In 1991, I moved north and joined a group committed to establishing a radio station in Warrington, Cheshire. In 1998, as a Director of Wire FM, we successfully applied for and won the licence to operate a commercial radio station for Warrington, Widnes and Runcorn.
When, in the late Summer of 2004 the communications regulator, OFCOM, invited applications for community radio, I established a local independent group to apply for and win the licence to operate a community radio station in mid Cheshire.

At Cheshire FM we are one dynamic team. Apart from presenting the Breakfast Show each weekday morning, I am responsible for making sure the entire operation runs smoothly and harmoniously – motivated staff delivering a great selection of quality programmes; thousands of happy listeners across Cheshire; and an ever growing band of successful advertisers and sponsors.
When not at the radio station I am at home sleeping! Well almost. I love to eat out. Living in Middlewich - you have to love Balti. My dream is to open an Italian restaurant here!
